Ordering Info
When To Order
Spring Orders : Spring shipping begins around mid-March and usually finishes up in late June. We pay attention to what the weather is doing in your area before we send your shipment. It is against our policy to expose plants in transit to unseasonably warm or frigid conditions. Ground service to the east coast can takes 5- 8 days. Unless projected temperature forecasts along ground transit routes are deemed safe for plant shipment, we recommend using 2nd or 3rd Day Air.

Payment
When You Receive Your Order
Our plants are guaranteed to be top quality and true to name. We take great pains to pack them well. When you receive your box, unpack plants immediately (and carefully) and water thoroughly. Plant as soon as possible and give them special attention for the first season. Remember, they've been removed from their pots, packed inside a dark box, shipped off to parts unknown (hopefully right-side-up) and now are plopped into a new garden amongst a bunch of strangers. You'd feel insecure, too!
Claims
All claims must be made immediately upon receipt of your order. PLEASE EMAIL PHOTOS OF DAMAGE TO PLANTS AND BOXES. If we have made a mistake we will do our best to correct the situation. Bloom River Gardens does not assume responsibility for plants damaged in transit. When damage is apparent, we will file a claim with the carrier. In no case will our liability exceed the price of plants purchased.
Every plant is happy, healthy and true-to-name when it leaves the nursery. But there are many variables for its welfare AFTER it reaches it's new home. Water needs, adverse hot and cold weather, less than optimal planting areas, and pesky varmints can all lead to a plant's demise. Keep an eye on new plants. Make sure they are well irrigated during HOT AND COLD weather. Sub-freezing days can be killers. Cold winds will quickly rob a plant of its leaf and root moisture and lower its defenses. Even the most experienced gardener loses plants to weather and failed irrigation systems. And you can't do much about a surprise attack from a gopher or that elk who broke through the fence and tromped through your flower bed. It is all part of the gardening learning curve. If you have questions or concerns, don't hesitate to call us. Send us photos. But PLEASE don't wait for weeks and months and (yes) years to call us. All of the above is beyond our control.
