Comments: Over 65 years ago this simple cross was made by Harold Greer and it must have been an "epiphany' moment when it flowered. Perfect, gigantic trusses of a clear pink flowers with ruffled edges and dark pink spotting on the dorsal lobe. Awarded the first Superior Plant Award, the highest award possible for a rhododendron.
