Price: $250.00
Size: see below
Description
Growth Habit: irregular, compact form
USDA Zone: 5-8
Exposure: filtered to full sun
Growing Condition: well drained soils
Comments: Growing only 1-2 inches a year this Japanese white pine is one of the slowest growing of all the parvifloras. Pink tipped buds open each spring to reveal white needles. Older needles eventually turn a blue-green color, but some white remains year round. The cultivar name is translated to "snow in the valley". A choice, slower growing selection. Also sold as 'Tani mano yuki'.
