Comments:  New spring growth of light green provides a nice contrast to the incredibly dark green foliage of the mature needles. As a young plant often sports a funnel-like center. With age though, this disappears and it slowly becomes a dense, mounding plant. Don Shadow discovered this witch's broom in the early 80's and gave it to Jean Iseli in 1984 to put into production.
